Joe Hart struggles getting the top off his shampoo bottle.
Not sure how he would get on being the sweeper keeper in this Pep formation that has the full backs in central midfield.

Re: Joe Hart
Joe Hart seems to me to be a talent that had potential to be a top keeper but hasn't put the work in to actually fulfill that potential he has properly stagnated as do a lot of English players with potential it seems.

Re: Joe Hart
He said he isn't good enough with his distribution didn't he?

I think they will go for this Ter Stegen from Barca...it's all about sweeper keepers nowadays.

Re: Joe Hart
if it wasn't for his 160k wages i'd have him at the LS

Re: Joe Hart
Hart is overrated. But I agree with him having a top potential without fulfilling it.

Tbh, I would rather have both Adrian and Randolph instead of Hart

Re: Joe Hart
I would rather Hart than both Adrian and Randolph between the sticks at the same time.

Re: Joe Hart
I think hart is in a really awkward situation now - if city sell they will want big bucks for him and he'd want champions league Asap but the only clubs that may be willing and able to pay that already have top keepers

Arsenal, Spurs, Man U won't want him. He may have been an option for Liverpool but I doubt klopp will go for him. Leicester won't pay the wages. It's the same abroad too - the only team I can think of domestically who could really go for him and could now potentially afford it would be Everton but I doubt he'd go there

Re: Joe Hart
I'm eagerly awaiting Pep coming unstuck - he likes the unusual to prove his brilliance, changes stuff for the sake of it

All this keeper sweeper shit will come awray over here and inspite of his clubs' massive spending power can see him having seriously misjudged the situation at the end of the season

The manc deby will be interesting, Zlatan is not a fan either

Re: Joe Hart
its pretty damning if he think willy is better than Hart !

Hart had a fantastic semi final v madrid- truly sensational, however he does let alot of soft goals in and a top keeper cant survive on the occasaional fantastic game - seems slow to get down and hasnt been improving any aspect of his game from what I can see..

Re: Joe Hart
You think he swapped keepers for the sake of it? Odd!

Always looks likely to gift a goal...one game in three...

Lacks judgement...and weak down to his left...twice in Euros...

Time for a rest and/or pastures new...

Re: Joe Hart
KD

If you think Willy is a better keeper than Hart then that is odd. No issue if he wants to change for whom he sees as a better but citing this sweeper keeper bollox is unnecessary grandstanding

It is indicative of the way he works - like moving Philipp Lahm from FB to central MF

Still, dont take my word for it, Rummenigge, Beckenbauer and the Beyern 'royalty' said the same

Re: Joe Hart
Imo Hart is a grossly overrated keeper who would get found out much more if he played for a weaker team than City. People say he's a good shot stopper, but isn''t that what keepers are supposed to do ffs? The fact that City have binned him in favour of Caballero probably says more about Guardiola's opinion of him than the fact that Ter Stegen from Barcelona is expected to come in before the window shuts. Hart would do well to try and find a new club before the end of August.

Posted on here months ago that hart was going.

Could have been a great keeper, but has 'personal issues'.

Remember that now you mention it, what's up with him again?
Some shagging issue I seem to recall

Re: Joe Hart
he's just too hyper to be a great keeper. they're all borderline mental but the best keepers have a very calm demeanour

Re: Joe Hart
You are bang on about him being wired in teh Euros Mike, wonder if all this Pep stuff had got to him?

Certainly needs to sort himself out as his career is wobbling

Takashi Miike 1:24 Sun Aug 14
Re: Joe Hart
crassus, im not saying he's a bad keeper, he just needs a change I think. liverpool or arsenal would be a good move for him. im not sure slaven would pay the money for him or if he's that much of a step up from adrian

Crassus 1:33 Sun Aug 14
Re: Joe Hart
Liverpool would be ideal for him I agree

I actually quite like the bloke and think that pep is hanging him out as a sacrificial lamb to prove his manhood to the squad - wont lose any sleep over it mind
